So my previous musings about pedestrians perishing via sewers/drains in India turns out to be not much of a joke after all. Right on the front page of my newspaper yesterday was a story of a 6-year-old who died after slipping off the sidewalk and falling into a drain/sewer, which promptly swept him to his death! It seems he was out walking with his mother and got caught in a rainstorm.
Pedestrians beware indeed!

I read all your experiences in India, wow!! Were is Bangalore in the North or South? I saw a programm the other day on tv and that was the North, beautiful.
I'm now having second thoughts about my holiday this year. I would like to go to south america ( don't know if its going to be Bolivia or Brazil) but India was beautiful as well and now reading your storie's, I don't know.
